President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Andrew Barnhill upon arrival in Greer, South Carolina, on Saturday, May 31, 2008.  Barnhill, 20, is a sophomore at Furman University and a volunteer with Heller Service Corps.  To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Barnhill, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Ashley Knight upon arrival in Olathe, Kansas, on Thursday, May 29, 2008.  Knight, 25, is a volunteer with Students Take Action and YouthFriends.  To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Knight, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Rick Pehrson upon arrival in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Wednesday, May 28, 2008.  Pehrson, 24, is a volunteer with AmeriCorps Youth Service Corps.  To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Pehrson, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Fran Macintyre upon arrival at Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.  Macintyre is a volunteer with the Roadrunner Food Bank, Friends for the Library, and New Mexico AIDS Services.  To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Macintyre, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Tamara Skinner upon arrival in Phoenix, Arizona, on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.  Skinner, 12, is a volunteer with Project SHINE and Church for the Nations. To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Skinner, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Amy Petrenko upon arrival at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina, on Thursday, May 22, 2008.  Petrenko, an Army spouse, is a volunteer with the National Military Family Association, the Child Advocacy Center of Cumberland County and other community organizations. To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Petrenko, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Buddy Shannon upon arrival in Wichita, Kansas, on Sunday, May 4, 2008.  Shannon is a volunteer with Real Men, Real Heroes, Saint Mark United Methodist Church and Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters.  To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Shannon, since March, 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Jerron Johnson upon arrival in St. Louis, Missouri, on Friday, May, 2, 2008.  Johnson served as a volunteer with AmeriCorps St. Louis and is an active volunteer with Make a Difference Day and the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Johnson, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Joe Lapenta upon arrival in Hartford, Connecticut, on Friday, April 25, 2008.  Lapenta is a volunteer with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hartford.   To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Lapenta, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Randy Raggio upon arrival in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Tuesday, April 22, 2008.  Raggio is a volunteer with Desire Street Academy.   To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Raggio, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Audrey Browder upon arrival in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Monday, April 21, 2008.  Browder is a volunteer with the Central City Partnership, the Holy Ghost Catholic Church and the Neighborhood Housing Services of New Orleans.  To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Browder, since March 2002.

 

President George W. Bush presented the President’s Volunteer Service Award to Andrell Reid upon arrival at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey, on Friday, March 28, 2008.  Reid is a volunteer with Army Family Team Building, Army Family Action Plan, the Army Volunteer Corps and Fort Dix Elementary School.  To thank them for making a difference in the lives of others, President Bush honors a local volunteer when he travels throughout the United States.  He has met with more than 600 volunteers, like Reid, since March 2002.
